TRITON is the legacy of Lisboa Triathlon (under Challenge Lisboa brand from 2017 to 2022) that took place from 2006 to 2022.
Innovation has always been at our core and the pandemic gave us a unique opportunity to pause and to talk to athletes, to listen and to rethink our propositon and purpose.
We saw a need for evolution, to give a better and full experience, to improve and to change where change was needed. TRITON Lisboa home is and has always beed at:

ABOUT THE EVENT & RACE VENUE
PARQUE DAS NAÇÕES – LISBOA
It all starts on Friday with the TRITON 1 RACE VILLAGE, EXPO and welcome dinner. On Saturday TRITON 1 hosts the charity run / walk for our special project tennis 4all kids, and the Kids and Parents Swim & Run challenge.
TRITON FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES
The distances:
1.8 km swim – 90. km bike – 21 km run
1.2 km swim – 45 km bike – 10.5 km run
600 m swim – 22.5 km bike – 5.4 km run
Racing format:
Individually by age group and gender, as a team in the half distance or a corporate team in the short distance.
And the unique and unparalleled, mix & match. this format allows you to race more of your favorite sport and race less of your least favorite sport, you decide how to race, you pick the distances for each sport, you mix & match the distances.
Location:
Parque das Nações in Lisboa, “the closest international race to your home”. The Airport is less than 3 km away from the race venue, with airlines flying, literally, from all parts of the globe.
If you wanted, you could bike or just walk to the race venue. That is why we say there is no closer international race to your home, and with easier access, anywhere else in the world.
